Salary in two years 27 crore, Former Minister of Information call.

Former PTV chairman Ata ul haq Qasmi received two crore rupees in two years
The Supreme Court has asked former prime minister Pervez Rasheed to give Rs 2 crores to PTV's former chairman Ata ul haq Qasmi for salary and other privileges in two years.

The Supreme Court also issued the symposium to Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad, Secretary-General, and former Additional Secretary Information, Saba Mohsin Raza.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar heard on the petition filed in 2006 by the producer working in PTV.

The petition was claimed that the absence of the Managing Director in state media PTV has caused a negative impact on the company's work.

The case against Atta ul Haqq Qasimi started in April 2017 when he had selected himself a PTV MD. After 5 days after being admitted to his post, he was replaced by Secretary Information Sardar Ahmed Nawaz Sikh.

Ahmed Nawaz Sikhira also resigned from his post in the month of December, saying it was very difficult to bring the PTV into the past.

During the hearing today, the Chief Justice asked that Atatullah Qassimi was given the salaries and privileges of Rs 27 crore in two years under the law.

It said that if the former prime minister has made a false deployment, the amount will be received from them and if it is proved that Ataulq Qasmi received the salary and privilege, he would have to return the money.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing by February 12.
