NEPRA announced the good news.



The National Electricity Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved the reduction in electricity prices by Rs. 2. 99 per unit.

Under the chairmanship of NEPRA Chairman Tariq Sudaiizai, the Central Power Forges Agency was hearing a change in petroleum price.

During the hearing, it was reported that the total production of electricity was 7 billion 76 million units last month, which cost Rs 40 billion 6 million.

'Electricity distribution companies having a fuel cost of Rs. 5 percent per unit on electricity production in December received 8 rupees 10 paise per unit in the cost of fuel from consumers.'

NEPRA approved Rs. 2.99 per unit reduction in the cost of monthly fuel adjustment.

Due to lack of electricity prices, consumers will get more than Rs 21 billion relief, but it will not apply to Life Line's Electric users.
